DIY wind power - DIY Wind Turbine - Permanent Magnet Generator
Home made wind turbine using a Permanent Magnet Motor. This can put out up to 200W of power(not 1200W). This project has 3 parts: Mechanical - At this point, only this part is done ie mobile mini-mast, hub, and blades. Electronic - The next step is to build a microcontroller -based Charge Controller for my battery bank. I'm planning to use a LM3S811 evaluation board that I already have. Electric - The last step is to wire everything together a draw some power from the bank. Will be posting more videos and comments on the project as it progresses.
